Carl Allen (Jim Carrey), a divorced loan officer stuck in automatic refusal, attends a self-help seminar where a guru convinces him to say yes to everything. His life explodes as he takes flying lessons, joins a Korean rock band, and falls for Allison (Zooey Deschanel), a free-spirited woman.
