“Dying to show you a good time.”

Maxine (Mia Goth) joins a film crew heading to a remote Texas ranch in 1979 to shoot a picture in secret. The property belongs to an elderly couple, Pearl (Mia Goth) and Howard, who seem harmless at first, but Pearl's fixation on the filmmakers quickly turns violent. West shoots the movie in grainy 16mm stock, trapping the actors and crew inside a house where paranoia spreads like a contagion.
