What Happened to Monday

“Seven sisters. One identity.”

Identical septuplets raised in secret by their grandfather (Willem Dafoe) emerge one day per week to avoid detection in a future where large families are forbidden. When Monday doesn't come home, the remaining six must confront Nicolette Cayman (Glenn Close), an official hunting them down. Wirkola propels the story through sharp cuts and overlapping faces, collapsing the distance between the sisters until you can't track who is who.
