Brendan Conlon (Joel Edgerton), a former MMA fighter turned high school teacher, needs money to save his house and his family's future. His estranged brother Tommy (Tom Hardy) emerges from years away, raw and angry, chasing the same tournament prize with brutal purpose. When both brothers enter the same fighting competition, they risk losing each other all over again.
