Woody (Tom Hanks), a cowboy doll, has ruled Andy's room as the favorite toy until Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) arrives. When both dolls tumble out the window and into the neighborhood, Woody faces a question that rattles him: does Andy still want him at all? John Lasseter sends them on a scramble through suburban danger, each one learning that being replaced means nothing compared to being discarded.
