Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri

Mildred Hayes (Frances McDormand) rents three billboards on a rural Missouri highway, each one a public accusation about her daughter's unsolved rape and murder. The billboards ignite the town, drawing the ire of Officer Dixon (Sam Rockwell) and forcing Police Chief Willoughby (Woody Harrelson) to reckon with his own limits. By the end, Mildred sits in a car at night with someone she didn't expect, heading toward a darkness.
