“Somebody said get a life...so they did.”

Louise Sawyer (Susan Sarandon) and Thelma Dickinson (Geena Davis) set out for a weekend getaway, but a stop at a roadside bar changes everything when a man's hands move faster than his apologies. The two women drive into the desert with the police closing behind them and nowhere left to turn back to. What began as an escape becomes a race against the choice they've already made, and the only thing left to decide is how far they're willing to go.
