The Sword in the Stone

(1963)Directed by Wolfgang Reitherman79 min · GAnimation, Family, Fantasy
Tired of living in a Medieval mess... Merlin uses all his magic powers to change a scrawny little boy into a legendary hero!

A young boy named Wart is plucked from his life as a scullery servant by Merlin (Karl Swenson), an eccentric wizard who insists the child is destined to be king. Merlin transforms him into different animals to teach him lessons through experience, while his cranky owl Archimedes (Junius Matthews) watches with commentary. Wart begins to understand that the magic within him matters far more than the sword he's been told will define his future.
