Sutter Keely (Miles Teller), a charming senior coasting through his last year of high school, wakes up one morning on a stranger's lawn with no memory of how he got there. He meets Aimee Finecky (Shailene Woodley), a quieter girl from his school, and the two start spending time together despite their completely different lives. What begins as Sutter showing Aimee how to live becomes love neither of them expected to feel.
