Four friends set out on a hiking trip through a remote Swedish forest as a way to process the death of a fifth, a man they failed to protect. Deep in the old-growth woods, they begin to sense an ancient evil presence moving through the trees, watching them. David Bruckner shoots the forest in suffocating detail, letting the camera linger on the dark spaces between trunks until the dread becomes physical.
