Quinn McKenna (Boyd Holbrook), a sniper with a hair-trigger temper and nowhere left to belong, wants to protect his young son Rory (Jacob Tremblay) from the alien hunter he's just encountered. He rounds up a crew of damaged soldiers and a scientist to stand against two Predators descending on Earth with purposes nobody yet understands. Shane Black cuts the action tight and fast, but what Quinn really can't outrun is himself.
