Father Gabriele Amorth (Russell Crowe) is a Jesuit priest and the Vatican's most seasoned exorcist, a man who has stared down possession many times. He arrives at an English manor to confront what inhabits a young boy named Henry (Peter DeSouza-Feighoney), joined by Father Esquibel (Daniel Zovatto). The entity inside the child is ancient and intelligent, and it will not leave without claiming a life in return.
