The Place Beyond the Pines

In upstate New York, a motorcycle stuntman named Luke Glanton (Ryan Gosling) discovers he has a son and turns to robbing banks to support him. A cop named Avery Cross (Bradley Cooper) becomes obsessed with catching him, and their collision sets off a chain of consequences that reaches forward through years and families. The film traces how one man's desperation and another man's ambition reshape the lives of everyone connected to them.
