The Lighthouse

“There is enchantment in the light.”

Two lighthouse keepers arrive at a remote New England outpost in the nineteenth century to tend the light through winter. Thomas Wake (Willem Dafoe) is a crusty veteran who guards the beacon like a jealous god, while Thomas Howard (Robert Pattinson) needs the wages and the isolation. A storm locks them in together, and the walls close tighter each day as their resentment grows sharp and strange.
