The Killing of a Sacred Deer

Surgeon Steven Murphy (Colin Farrell) befriends a quiet teenager, Martin Lang (Barry Keoghan), and invites him into his home. Then the family starts to sicken in ways the doctor cannot explain or treat. Lanthimos orchestrates the household's collapse with a surgeon's cold precision, finding horror in the ordinary angles of a living room and the spaces between people who cannot help each other.
