Gordo Mosley (Joel Edgerton) reappears in Simon Callem's (Jason Bateman) life after years apart, showing up at the couple's new house with gifts and unsettling eagerness. Simon brushes him off, but Gordo keeps coming back, his attention shifting toward Robyn (Rebecca Hall), who finds him courteous at first, then impossible to shake. As Gordo's presence deepens into a quiet campaign of intrusion, Robyn begins to wonder what Simon did to him.
