Moonee (Brooklynn Prince) is six years old and lives with her mother Halley (Bria Vinaite) in the Magic Castle motel in Kissimmee, where rent is paid week to week. She wants to stay here, to keep playing with her friend Jancey (Valeria Cotto) and running barefoot through the summer heat. What feels infinite to a child is held together by the thinnest margin.
