Abigail (Emma Stone) arrives at the court of Queen Anne (Olivia Colman) as a poor relation, but real power belongs to Lady Sarah (Rachel Weisz), who has shaped the Queen's affections for years. When Abigail learns to flatter and manipulate, she begins to inch closer to Anne's favor.
