The Father
Anthony (Anthony Hopkins), an aging man resisting assisted living, wants to stay in his London flat and keep his life as it is. His daughter Anne (Olivia Colman) tries to convince him otherwise, but his memory keeps slipping, people arrive and vanish, rooms shift, time becomes unreliable. The closer we get to Anthony's perspective, the more the ground beneath the film gives way, and we begin to understand what stands to be lost.
