The Evil Dead

Ash (Bruce Campbell) just wants to survive the night in an isolated cabin with four friends. When they play a tape they find there, demons and spirits pour out of the woods to hunt them, and one by one his companions fall to possession and violence. Raimi corners Ash in the dark with only his wits and whatever weapons he can grab, where the only way out is to keep moving.
