The Dreamers

“Together nothing is impossible. Together nothing is forbidden.”

An American student (Michael Pitt) arrives in Paris during the upheaval of 1968 and befriends Isabelle (Eva Green) and Theo (Louis Garrel), siblings who live sequestered in their family apartment. The three of them fall into a closed world, watching films and touching each other in the dark while the city riots outside. What begins as intellectual passion becomes physical, and the boundary between performance and desire dissolves.
