Rebecca (Katie Chang) is a charismatic teenager who has figured out how to turn celebrity gossip into a blueprint for theft. She recruits classmates including Nicki (Emma Watson) and Sam (Taissa Farmiga) to track celebrities online and slip into their homes. Coppola watches them fill their arms with designer bags and sunglasses until the line between wanting what famous people have and wanting to be them collapses entirely.
