Young reporter Tintin (Jamie Bell) buys a model ship at a market and uncovers a mystery: three people want it badly enough to kill for it. The trail leads him to Captain Haddock (Andy Serkis), a drunk sea captain whose ancestor once sailed the Unicorn, and to Sakharine (Daniel Craig), a collector with darker claims to the same treasure. What matters most is not the gold but the loyalty that holds unlikely friends together.
