In the Old West of the late 1800s, a wild Kiger mustang named Spirit (voice of Matt Damon) roams free until the U.S. Cavalry captures him. A Lakota man named Little Creek (Daniel Studi) frees Spirit and the two form a bond that pulls the stallion away from his herd. Spirit learns that freedom is not just running alone across open country, but choosing to stay with those who matter.
