A brilliant scientist named Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina) is transformed into Doc Ock by a lab accident, and now Peter has to stop him while Mary Jane Watson (Kirsten Dunst) waits for him to show up. Raimi shoots the action in wide, uncluttered frames that let you see the whole web of it unfold.
