Buster Moon (Matthew McConaughey), an optimistic koala impresario, dreams of staging a spectacle at the Crystal Tower Theater in the heart of the city. He rounds up his ragtag troupe: Rosita (Reese Witherspoon), a pig with a gift for reinvention; Ash (Scarlett Johansson), a porcupine rocker finding her voice; Johnny (Taron Egerton), a gorilla with classical training. Every one of them has a moment to prove themselves on the biggest stage they've ever seen.
