Robin Hood (a fox, voiced by Brian Bedford) and Little John (a bear, voiced by Phil Harris) rob from Prince John's tax collectors and give to Nottingham's poor. As the corrupt lion king grows desperate and angry, Robin must outwit the sheriff's patrols and stay ahead of a price on his head. The film suggests that even the smallest act of defiance against greed can inspire a whole community to stand together.
