Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal), an ex-UFC fighter trying to leave his past behind, takes work as a bouncer at a dive bar in the Florida Keys. He walks into a setup that pits him against Knox (Conor McGregor) and a crew of ruthless men who run the town through fear and muscle. Liman shoots the violence in bright, punishing daylight, sweat and blood catching the sun off the water.
