Rise of the Planet of the Apes

“Evolution becomes revolution.”

Will Rodman (James Franco), a chemist at a San Francisco biotech firm, is testing a viral therapy that restores cognitive function in the brain. When his work stalls, he brings home Caesar (Andy Serkis), a young chimpanzee born to a test subject, and raises him as his own. Caesar's intelligence accelerates beyond anything Will anticipated, but when the ape is caged, a species discovers how to organize against captivity.
