Remember the Titans

“History is written by the winners.”

In 1971 Alexandria, newly hired Coach Herman Boone (Denzel Washington) takes over a high school football team ordered to integrate by court decree. The roster splits along racial lines, and practices descend into arguments and near-violence. Boone pushes his players to see each other as teammates first, and by season's end, the bonds forged between them become what each of them will carry forward.
