Project Hail Mary

Ryland Grace (Ryan Gosling), a middle school teacher, wakes aboard a spacecraft with no memory of how he arrived or why he's alone in the dark. He discovers he's been sent on a desperate mission to save Earth from extinction, armed only with fragmented knowledge and an AI assistant named Rocky (James Ortiz). As Grace ventures toward an alien world to find answers, he learns that everything he does now determines whether humanity survives.
