Police Academy

“Call them slobs. Call them jerks. Call them gross. Just don't call them when you're in trouble.”

A city police academy opens its doors to anyone willing to apply, and Carey Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg), a con artist with nothing to lose, enrolls. The instructors, particularly the rigid Lieutenant Harris (G.W. Bailey), expect chaos and are determined to wash them out before the ceremony. But as the recruits stumble through training, Mahoney finds in his fellow outcasts a kind of belonging that his drill instructors never anticipated.
