Peter Pan (Jeremy Sumpter) is a boy who never grows old, who lands in the nursery of the Darling children and whisks them away to Neverland. There he and Wendy (Rachel Hurd-Wood) navigate the island's wonders and perils, including the menace of Captain Hook (Jason Isaacs), who commands a ship and a grudge. P.J. Hogan films the impossible with deliberate enchantment, letting the camera linger on wonder.
