“Work sucks.”

Peter Gibbons (Ron Livingston) is a programmer at a soul-crushing software company who has stopped pretending to care about his job. With coworkers Michael Bolton (David Herman) and Samir Nagheenanajar (Ajay Naidu), he endures cubicles and managers who speak in corporate nonsense. What begins as quiet resentment among friends turns into a scheme, and they discover that the real bind is not the work itself but the trap of thinking there's nowhere else to go.
