Mulan

In fifth-century China, the Rouran clan rides toward the imperial palace, and the Emperor (Jet Li) summons one soldier from every family to defend the realm. Mulan (Liu Yifei), a young woman with a gift for combat that her society forbids her to use, takes her aging father's place in the army, disguising herself as a man.
