Moulin Rouge!

Christian (Ewan McGregor), a penniless English poet in Paris, wants to write a show that will change the world. He pitches it to the cast of the Moulin Rouge, where he meets Satine (Nicole Kidman), the club's star performer and a courtesan promised to a wealthy duke. Luhrmann floods the screen with color and sound, letting the camera spin through a world where emotion lives in song.
