Die (Anne Dorval) has just retrieved her teenage son Steve (Antoine Olivier Pilon) from a psychiatric facility, determined to keep him out of institutions. Steve is volatile and sometimes violent, but Die refuses to let the system take him. When their neighbor Kyla (Suzanne Clément) enters their orbit, the three of them form a tight, fragile unit where love and damage run so close together it becomes impossible to separate them.
