Jacob Portman (Asa Butterfield) discovers his grandfather's stories were real: a orphanage hidden in a time loop where children with impossible gifts have lived safe for decades. Miss Peregrine (Eva Green), who can transform into a falcon, protects them, but the loop is unraveling and the creatures that hunted his grandfather are returning.
