Memento

“Some memories are best forgotten.”

Leonard (Guy Pearce) has no short-term memory after an assault that killed his wife, so he tattoos clues on his body and takes Polaroids to track down her killer. He meets Natalie (Carrie-Anne Moss), a bartender who offers to help him, and Teddy (Joe Pantoliano), a man who claims to be his friend. As he hunts through fragments, what matters most is whether the people closest to him are guiding him toward the truth or deeper into it.
