Nick Cassidy (Sam Worthington) stands on a ledge of the Roosevelt Hotel in Manhattan, forty stories above the street. A disgraced former cop, he claims he has evidence of a massive jewel heist, but first he needs negotiator Lydia Mercer (Elizabeth Banks) to listen before he jumps. While she talks him down through the night, his brother Joey (Jamie Bell) works the streets below to find the proof that will clear Nick's name.
