Sophie Sheridan (Amanda Seyfried) is about to marry on a Greek island, but she has never known her father. She tracks down three men from her mother Donna's (Meryl Streep) past, Sam (Pierce Brosnan), Harry (Colin Firth), and Bill (Stellan Skarsgård), and invites them all to the wedding, hoping one of them might be her dad. By evening, the men are dancing on the beach in white suits, the bride spinning between them in the salt air.
