Machete

“They just messed with the wrong Mexican.”

Machete (Danny Trejo), a former federale, is hired to assassinate Senator John McLaughlin (Robert De Niro) but is double-crossed and left for dead. He emerges from the wreckage with a single purpose: find every person who set him up. Rodriguez and Maniquis shoot the revenge through a haze of neon and blood, each frame cranked to maximum velocity.
