Lucy, an American student in Taipei, is forced to swallow a packet of experimental drugs by a crime boss, Mr. Jang (Choi Min-sik). The synthetic compound enters her bloodstream and begins unlocking dormant parts of her brain, giving her telekinetic powers and superhuman cognition. As her abilities accelerate and she hunts down Mr. Jang across Paris and New York, she risks dissolving into pure energy before she can stop him.
