“How far you fall doesn't matter, it's how you land…”

Vinz (Vincent Cassel), Hubert (Hubert Koundé), and Saïd (Saïd Taghmaoui) are three friends moving through a poor suburb of Paris the day after a police raid. Vinz carries a gun he found and talks about using it; Hubert tries to pull him back; Saïd moves between them, cracking jokes to keep the tension at a distance. Kassovitz shoots the city in black and white, the frame tight and the light unforgiving.
