“Venus, Serena and a plan for greatness.”

Richard Williams (Will Smith) has a plan to make his daughters into tennis champions, though he learned the game from a video. He coaches Venus (Saniyya Sidney) and Serena (Demi Singleton) on the cracked courts of Compton while their mother Oracene (Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor) steadies the household. Richard believes he can shape champions through discipline and design, but his daughters will have to survive his vision of who they could become.
