Inglourious Basterds

“Once upon a time in Nazi occupied France...”

France, 1941. A Jewish girl named Shosanna (Mélanie Laurent) escapes a massacre by the ruthless Colonel Hans Landa (Christoph Waltz) and goes into hiding in Paris, where she runs a cinema. Meanwhile, an American lieutenant named Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) leads a squad of soldiers on a revenge mission through occupied territory, hunting Nazi officers. Tarantino braids their paths toward the same place: a film premiere that could burn down the entire German high command.
