Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) wakes in a Florence hospital with no memory of how he got there, clutching a cylinder containing a map hidden inside a Botticelli painting. A young doctor, Sienna Brooks (Felicity Jones), helps him escape, but multiple factions soon hunt them both. As Langdon races through European cities decoding Renaissance art and ancient texts, the real threat emerges from the shadows of museum corridors.
