Idiocracy

“In the future, intelligence is extinct.”

An Army librarian named Joe Bauers (Luke Wilson) and a prostitute named Rita (Maya Rudolph) are put into hibernation as part of a classified government experiment. They wake five hundred years later in a future America where intelligence has collapsed and language has devolved into monosyllables and brand names. Joe is suddenly the smartest man alive in a world where that fact alone makes him dangerous.
