I Origins

A molecular biologist named Ian Gray (Michael Pitt) becomes obsessed with eyes after a chance encounter with Sofi (Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey) leaves him convinced that irises hold a pattern across lifetimes. His research partner Kenny (Steven Yeun) watches him pursue an almost religious theory that science cannot validate. In a basement lab, Ian stares at photographs of irises from across the world, searching for the same impossible geometry.
