“Earth just got a little stranger.”

An alien named Oh (Jim Parsons) crashes to Earth and befriends Tip (Rihanna), a teenage girl searching for her mother (Jennifer Lopez) after an alien invasion separates them. Together they dodge Oh's own kind, led by the rigid Captain Smek (Steve Martin), while racing across the planet to find her family. If they fail, Tip loses her mother forever, and Oh remains stranded among those who see him as a mistake.
